Taekwon Master Build

Introduction

Taekwon Masters specialize in dealing quick, heavy damage.

They use books as their main weapon and their equipment is limited. Their hp mod is quite low compared to other classes. However, they make up for the lack of defense with the ability to totally annihilate the enemy.

TKM's can easily reach 190 aspd with SLS shadow (sacrifice sight for aspd) and have an elemental advantage with mild wind. They have access to 199 aspd skills on up to 3 aligned maps, and atk bonuses on up to 3 aligned monsters/classes.

Basic Stat Distribution

Str: At least 90 base is recommended. Aim for the highest str bonus your equips will allow.
Agi: Get this relatively high if you plan on going kicker. Get high agi if you're aiming for 190 aspd. Don't bother getting any agi if you're going heat build.
Vit: Moderate vit for hp. Get low vit if you plan on going heat and partying, get moderate vit if you plan on soloing your way to 99 with heat.
Int: Pretty useless for a tkm, unless you want sp for heat. I wouldn't recommend getting any of this.
Dex: Moderate dex for hit. If you plan on receiving any bonuses from alignment skills, make this relatively equal to your luk.
Luk: I've never heard of or seen a crit tkm before so I'm not sure how much of this you would want. If you plan on receiving any bonuses form alignment skills, make this relatively equal to your dex.

Solar, Lunar and Stellar Perception (3)
Pre-requisites: None
Designate the current map with one of the cosmic alignments, Solar, Lunar or Stellar, for the use of certain skills. It is impossible to change a map's cosmic alignment once it is designated. Using this skill on a cosmically aligned map will display a list of map designations

Recommendation: Allows use of heat on 3 maps of your choice. I'd definately get this.

Solar Heat (3)
Pre-Requisites: SLS Perception 1
This skill is only enabled in Solar areas. Inflict damage, drain 2 SP and push back monsters around the caster.
On other players, this skill will only have the push back effect and continuously drain SP.

Recommendation: This skill makes TKMs one of the fastest killers ingame. Even if monsters aren't tagged as boss property, with a little practice and skill, you can stick a monster against a wall and still kill it quickly. Definately worth getting.

Lunar Heat (3)
Pre-Requisites: SLS Perception 2
This skill is only enabled in Lunar areas. Inflict damage, drain 2 SP and push back monsters around the caster.
On other players, this skill will only have the push back effect and continuously drain SP.

Recommendation: Same as Solar Heat.

Stellar Heat (3)
Pre-Requisites: SLS Perception 3
This skill is only enabled in Stellar areas. Inflict damage, drain 2 SP and push back monsters around the caster.
On other players, this skill will only have the push back effect and continuously drain SP.

Recommendation: Same as Solar & Lunar Heat.

Solar, Lunar and Stellar Opposition (3)
Pre-Requisites: None
Designate the targeted monster with one of the cosmic alignments, Solar, Lunar or Stellar, for the use of certain skills. It is impossible to change a monster's cosmic alignment once it is designated. Using this skill on a cosmically aligned monster will display a list of monster designations. On players, character jobs can be designated without regarding size and Max HP.

Recommendation: Allows use of passive skills wrath and blessings on 3 monsters of your choice. Definately worth getting.

Other Information

Aligned monsters and maps can be reset. The exact method for this isn't clear yet, but it's been done before. It's rumored to be triggered the same way you would trigger miracle: by sitting next to another tk class and using the doridori command to recover hp/sp. Level/job/map/gender/gears do not seem to affect the chances of this reset.
